Hello everyone!!
My apologies for my blog going on hiatus…a long hiatus!
Besides being faced with some life challenges, I have been in school, studying at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, located in NYC. IIN, we all call it, is the world’s largest nutrition school. I have been studying to become a Certified Health Coach and am now taking on clients! My focus is helping people with gluten issues (of course!) and helping women in their 20s-40s with weight loss as well as helping children focus on healthy eating.

Andrea, Hi, my name is Pattie Lerner I am in the beginning stages of starting a gluten free baking business. The reason I am so interested in this is because my 27 yr old daughter was diagnosed with Celiac Disease in the last yr and a half. We were interested in finding things that tasted more like the food she was used to without the horrible textures, that became impossible so a year ago I starting baking for her.. The response from everyone was unbelievable so that brings me to why I am sending this message. Our company name is Sweet Megan named after my niece that at age 21 passed away from a brain tumor. But I want you to know that I bake the best healthy muffins and cookies they are xanthan gum free. Just thought I would share that with you after reading about what it really is ewwww!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Patti, I’m not sure why my reply didn’t show up, I am SO sorry! I absolutely LOVED your chocolate cupcake when I was in NYC recently, I know we talked about that on Twitter. I am so sorry to hear about your niece too. I am in the process of redoing my blog and definitely want to include you in my post about my trip.
